Google Pixel 10a
Google’s Best, Cheap phone is now even cheaper. Save $75 off of the Google Pixel 10a.
The Google Pixel 10a is Google’s mid-range smartphone, and right now you can save $75 off its regular price. This brings it down to just $424.99. Considering all the price increases on quite literally everything right now, this seems like a pretty good deal.
This year, the Pixel 10a didn’t get many upgrades; it’s still using the older Tensor G4 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. But it does still get 7 years of updates and a ton of new AI features. Unfortunately, because of that 8GB of RAM, not all new Gemini Intelligence features will be available, as some require 12GB.
On the battery front, Google claims 10 hours of battery life, which, considering its 5,100mAh battery paired with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, doesn’t seem all that wild. In fact, this is most likely a two-day phone for most people.
Google does sell the Pixel 10a in four colors: Obsidian, Fog, Berry, and Lavender. The Berry color is my personal favorite; it’s nice and bright and looks quite amazing. Google does a really good job with its colors each year on the Pixel.
When it comes to the cameras, we’re looking at a 48MP primary camera, which is quite small at 1/2″, but there is also a 13MP ultrawide camera on board. Unfortunately, there’s no telephoto; you’ll need to upgrade to the Pixel 10 or Pixel 11 to get that.
In our Google Pixel 10a review earlier this year, we said, “It’s still the Best $500 Phone,” and that is absolutely true. Especially with most phones getting price increases due to the RAM shortage. It’s not a perfect phone, and unfortunately it doesn’t have the magnets for PixelSnap like its higher-end brothers have. But for under $500, you could definitely get a much worse phone. So this is a good one to pick up.
