Galaxy Z Flip 8 Specs Just Leaked, and There Are No Real Surprises

Yesterday, WinFuture leaked the spec sheets of both of the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 models. Today, they’re back with the Galaxy Z Flip 8 spec sheet. And to be perfectly honest, there are really no surprises here.

It looks like the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is sporting the same shell as the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which isn’t a huge surprise. Given that it did get a pretty decent redesign last year – mostly sporting a much larger cover display. And the rumors of this being Samsung’s last flip device.

However, Samsung did manage to shave off some weight this year, bringing it down to 180g. That’s 8g lighter than last year’s model.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 to sport an Exynos 2600 chip, at least in Europe

It’s important to mention that these specs are specific to Europe. While they could be the same globally, they did come from a European retailer, so there is a chance Samsung could still use Qualcomm in the US.

Internally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is sporting the Exynos 2600 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It’ll also have a 4,300mAh capacity battery, the same size battery as last year.

It’ll still sport a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz display, and a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display. With the same 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP selfie cameras on board.

Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is going to be available in Graphite, Cream, and Pink, as we’ve already leaked out. And it’ll cost €1,299 for the 256GB, or €1,499 for the 512GB.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is going to be announced next week at Unpacked, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Of course, the Folds are getting all the attention this year, which is pretty common for Samsung.
