More Performance
The Lamborghini Huracan in itself is already a high-performing supercar, but as is the way with supercars nowadays, each model receives more than one upgrade, usually a lighter, stiffer, and sometimes more powerful version of the existing car.
In the case of the Huracan, the next step up was the Performante, a lightened, stiffened, and track-focused version of Lambo’s previous baby supercar (which was replaced by the Temerario). Someone decided it wasn’t fast enough to their liking; now tuned to the max, you can buy this unique creation.
Ultimate Performante
A used-car dealership called Chicago Motor Cars posted what appears to be a standard Huracan Performante. The car is finished in Bianco Monocerus and has the symbolic Italian flag livery on the lower body; aside from that, it looks more or less stock. Before we get to the performance itself, the listing highlights other upgrades, including a Front Axle Lift System, full paint protection film (PPF), Novitec forged carbon fiber upgrades, and the Sensonum audio system.
AWD comes standard for the Performante, but this car has been tuned with an Underground Racing Stage 3+ Twin-Turbo kit, pushing the 5.2-liter V10 to 1,400 WHP (wheel horsepower). It’s important to note that wheel horsepower is the actual power the wheels are putting down to the road, as opposed to horsepower (hp), which is what the flywheel produces. Computing the hp of this particular Performante reveals 1,866 hp.

Used But Not Abused
According to the listing, the car isn’t some garage queen (it would be a shame with all that power), having driven 11,400 miles. However, there isn’t a listed price in the post, which suggests it probably costs a lot.
The Performante in stock form isn’t the most distilled version of the Huracan yet; shortly after, Lamborghini actually launched the STO, which was more aggressive and even lighter; however, it didn’t actually have any additional power compared to the Performante, opting instead for aero and weight reduction.
