OnePlus has just confirmed its new smartphone series. It’s the rumored N series of smartphones. We were the first to report that OnePlus is working on an ultra-budget smartphone series, and additional info followed after that.
OnePlus has just confirmed a brand new smartphone series
The company has confirmed, via the OnePlus India social media account, that the OnePlus N series is coming. That’s the series that was rumored very recently. It seems like we’ll get more than one device in the series.
Don’t confuse this with the OPPO Find N series, as the two have nothing in common. The OnePlus N series is all about budget devices, while the Find N series is OPPO’s flagship foldable smartphone series.
With that being said, OPPO’s teaser also confirmed that the first devices in this series will have flat sides. You can see the image that the company shared below.
This smartphone series is said to cost under INR 20,000, which is the equivalent of $208. In fact, one of the phones could even cost under INR 15,000 ($150), but we’ll see.
OnePlus could launch these devices next month
OnePlus is expected to announce its first devices in this smartphone series as early as next month. We still don’t have any spec information about the devices, though, so we’ll have to wait. OnePlus is really good at stuffing good specs in phones that have low price tags, so… we’re expecting a great balance.
The OnePlus N smartphone series is coming to India, and there’s actually a good chance it won’t become available elsewhere. OnePlus may not even launch its flagship smartphone in the US and Europe, let alone this one. It remains to be seen, the situation in the company is allegedly a bit weird at the moment.
