Motorola is all set to introduce a new Edge series phone, the Edge 70 Pro+, very soon. Ahead of the launch, the popular gadget tipster Evan Blass already shared a handful of official-looking photos of the device last month. Motorola has now posted a teaser for a new phone in India, which could launch as the Edge 70 Pro+. The teaser has revealed the device’s design, apart from the color variants.
Motorola’s Edge 70 Pro+ teaser reveals color variants and design
Motorola’s teaser doesn’t mention the phone’s name. However, the company’s e-commerce partner in India, Flipkart, also has a teaser page live on the website. Its URL clearly includes the handset’s name. As you can see in the photo, the Edge 70 Pro+ will largely resemble the Edge 70 Pro model in terms of design from the back.
The company has also teased the color variants for the smartphone. It’ll offer the smartphone in three different rear panel finishes, including Satin-Luxe, Sculpted Wood, and a Twill-inspired texture. The leaks earlier indicated that the phone could be available in white, dark blue, a turquoise-like shade, brown, and maroon. However, not all these colorways will be available globally.
The phone will offer Sony LYTIA camera sensors
The official teaser for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ reveals that the phone will come with three primary cameras, which will be located in a square island at the top-left corner. Notably, the camera module carries the Sony LYTIA branding alongside support for optical image stabilization.
The brand has also confirmed a sensor with 81mm focal length, suggesting the phone could have a dedicated portrait or telephoto camera. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t revealed the complete camera specifications of the device yet. Motorola will reveal more details about the upcoming Edge offering soon, so watch this space for regular updates.
