Apple’s MacBooks are easily among the best machines, be it for students, coders, designers, and just about anyone. There’s something for everyone, and at every price point. It offers the MacBook Air for those on a budget and the Pro models for those who want that extra power. Then there’s the very affordable MacBook Neo, targeting mainly the younger audience. This has become so popular that even Apple is surprised by its demand. Apple wants to push more users, especially students, towards Mac with a new ad that promotes them as the “best choice for college.”
Apple’s new ad highlights Mac as the best choice for college
The new 93-second ad shows students across various fields frustrated with creative block, with screenwriting, failed designs, coding errors, etc. At first, we see them trashing projects, despite using a Mac. As the deadlines approached, they all eventually overcame their creative block — as Apple puts it, “in the pursuit of something great.”
Apple doesn’t make it clear whether they’re using a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro. What it does convey is that Mac laptops are the ideal choice across different fields. This includes designers, engineers, and artists. Towards the end of the video, there is a slide that reads, “Great ideas start here.”

The tech giant doesn’t credit the actors, but gives due credit to the song “I’VE GOT THIS ALL UNDER CONTROL” by Willow Kayne. The video is a great showcase of how MacBook can be a practical choice in various use cases, especially the MacBook Neo with its starting price of $599 or $499 for students. Although that price may not last long. Regardless, it gets an A18 Pro chip instead of the usual M-series. There’s a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, 8GB RAM with 256GB/512GB storage options, and a standard Magic Keyboard.
