The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 price is set at $1,899 – and honestly, for what you’re getting, that’s a pretty compelling number. It’s not cheap by any means, but in the book-style foldable space, it’s actually one of the better deals on the market right now.
For context, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will run you $1,999, and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold sits at $1,799. So the Razr Fold lands right between its two biggest competitors. And unlike the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, you’re getting flagship-tier specs across the board here.
What You’re Getting for $1,899
This isn’t a half-baked first attempt. Motorola packed the Razr Fold with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest in any US foldable right now, with 80W TurboPower charging. That’s charging over USB-C PD and not USB-A like a lot of the Chinese foldables. The inner display is an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO panel, and the cover screen is a 6.6-inch pOLED. Cameras are a triple 50MP system anchored by a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor, which earned the top DXOMark score for any foldable camera system. It also debuts Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, a first for any smartphone.
The Razr Fold is Motorola’s first crack at a book-style foldable. The fact that it’s priced $100 below Samsung’s equivalent while packing comparable (and in some areas better) hardware is a strong opening move.
Pre-orders open May 14 at Motorola.com and Best Buy, with units hitting shelves on May 21. T-Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, and Verizon will carry it in the months following launch.
At $1,899, the Motorola Razr Fold 2026 price is aggressive but also greatly affected by the RAM-pocalypse that every tech company is facing right now. Keep in mind that it does still come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so it’s technically $300 cheaper than Samsung’s option.
