Want to use the new Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 on AT&T? Well, we have good news and bad news. First, the bad news is that AT&T is not going to be selling it. The good news? Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy are selling it unlocked, so you can pop in your SIM and be on the way.
Motorola went the unlocked-only route with the Razr Ultra 2026 this year, skipping carrier retail entirely. The phone is universally unlocked and works on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and any MVNO that runs on those networks, so Cricket Wireless customers, you’re covered too. You just have to buy it yourself.
Pre-orders open May 14 at Best Buy, Amazon, and Motorola.com, with the phone going on sale universally on May 21. No carrier installment plans, no AT&T trade-in promos. It’s an outright purchase.
Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 Specs and Price
Here’s the full rundown. The Razr Ultra 2026 packs a 7-inch inner OLED display and a 4-inch cover display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera system is a triple 50MP setup — and notably, the main shooter now uses a new LOFIC sensor that Motorola claims delivers up to 6x more dynamic range than last year’s model. Battery is a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon cell with 68W TurboPower wired charging, Android 16 ships out of the box, and IP48 dust and water resistance is included. As for colors, you’ve got PANTONE Orient Blue with an Alcantara finish and PANTONE Cocoa with a natural wood veneer — both look genuinely stunning.
The price is $1,499, which is $200 more than last year’s model. It’s a lot of money for a flip phone, no question. But when you look at the full specs package and what you’re getting for that money, it’s hard to argue there isn’t real value here.
If you’re an AT&T customer eyeing the best flip phone on the market right now, the Razr Ultra 2026 will work perfectly on your network. You’ll just need to buy it unlocked.
