
Motorola has launched the Moto G37 and the Moto G37 Power. These expand the company’s budget portfolio. Staying true to the ‘Power’ branding, the latter rocks a large 7,000mAh battery, compared to a smaller 5,200mAh cell on the regular Moto G37. Both models share almost identical hardware, including the chipset, display, and other key features.
MediaTek Dimensity 6300, 50MP camera, and Android 16
The Moto G37 gets a 6.67-inch HD+ LCS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1,050 nits brightness. There’s also a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i layer on top for protection against scratches/cracks. It ships with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with Mali-G57 GPU for graphics. The phone will be offered with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is further expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
The Moto G37 runs on Android 16 OS and offers some AI features. As for photography, the handset houses a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and reportedly a secondary camera in some markets. It has an 8MP lens on the front for selfies and videos. Other notable features include Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Moto G37 also gets an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H for durability. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional NFC. It rocks a 5,200mAh battery that supports 20W TurboPower charging.
Moto G37 Power is almost identical
The Moto G37 Power is mostly the same as the regular G37, with a few differences. You get a large 7,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower charging, and 6W wired reverse charging. It comes in 4GB or 8GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage. You also get microSD card support. The Moto G37 Power seems to have only one rear camera, as it reportedly doesn’t get the ultrawide lens.
The Moto G37 comes in Pantone Fuchsia Red, Pantone Impenetrable, and Pantone Nautical Blue colours. The handset costs EUR 249 (~$293) for the 4GB/128GB version. On the other hand, the Moto G37 Power is launched in Pantone Capri, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Impenetrable finishes. It’ll cost EUR 279 (~$328). Both phones are apparently available in Germany.
