
Xiaomi unveiled its Xiaomi 15T series last year on September 24. It then recently launched its flagship Xiaomi 17 series globally. The tech giant now appears to be preparing for an early release of the Xiaomi 17T series. A recent Geekbench listing has revealed some key specifications of the flagship, including the MediaTek Dimensity 8000-series chip and 12GB RAM.
Xiaomi prepares for an early release of the Xiaomi 17T series
As per the typical launch timeline, the Xiaomi 17T should launch in September. However, the company is reportedly preparing for an early release as the devices have been spotted on several certification websites. A phone with the model number 2602DPT53G was recently certified on the Geekbench platform. The device is none other than the upcoming Xiaomi 17T flagship.
As per Geekbench, the Xiaomi 17T features a MediaTek Dimensity chipset with a prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, 3X performance cores at 3.20GHz, and 4X power-saving cores at 2.20GHz. In terms of graphics, the phone packs a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. While the benchmark doesn’t reveal the exact chipset model, the specs are enough to suggest it’s the Dimensity 8500.
Xiaomi 17T’s rumored specs suggest a 7,000mAh battery and 1.5K resolution display
As per early reports, the Xiaomi 17T will feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and high refresh rate support. Further, it is said to pack a larger 7,000mAh cell with up to 65W fast charging support. It may carry wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support as well.
In terms of cameras, it may feature a 50MP primary wide lens, a 50MP secondary ultrawide, and a 50MP tertiary telephoto. On the front, it is said to house a 32MP selfie shooter. The Pro model will stand out with a more powerful telephoto camera. It will feature a more capable MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
