The OPPO Find X9 Ultra was announced a couple of days ago. This is the company’s new flagship smartphone, and also one of the best camera smartphones we’ve tested. This teardown video comes from WekiHome, which is something we’re used to seeing from them. The video has a duration of almost 13 minutes, and it’s in Chinese, but you can always use Google’s translation to give you English subtitles. The video is embedded below.
The presenter does a great job, actually, as basically every component that is pulled from the phone is getting talked about in detail. If you’re interested in anything that sits on the inside, this video has you covered.
For us, the most interesting part was the camera setup, of course. OPPO managed to stick four very compelling cameras there, along with a color spectrum sensor. A strong adhesive holds the backplate attached to the phone, and once that is removed, the fun begins.
You can immediately see the charging coil, as the phone supports 50W wireless charging. The phone’s four cameras, plus a color spectrum sensor, are quite large, which explains the camera cutout on the back.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is the first ‘Ultra’ phone from OPPO to reach global markets. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip at the moment.
The rest of the phone is quite impressive, too. A 7,050mAh battery is used here, while the device supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. LPDDR5X RAM is used, along with UFS 4.1. A 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display is also used, and it’s very sharp… and so on.
