PlayStation Plus has its official list of games being added to the Game Catalog for the month of April, and it includes some pretty awesome titles that are sure to strike a chord with players. The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog games are of course different from the monthly games you get with a PlayStation Plus subscription. The monthly games are what you get for free just for subscribing to the service even at its base tier, which is PlayStation Plus Essential.
The Game Catalog titles are what come to the service for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. You also don’t get to claim these games and add them to your library forever. They’re on a rotating cycle. Once Sony pulls them from the catalog, if it pulls them from the catalog, you can no longer play them. So, there is some incentive to play them while you can if you’re interested.
The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog games for April include two heavy hitters
If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium, or you’re considering it, here’s what you can look forward to for this month. The headliners are The Crew Motorfest and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Two wildly different games but both bound to suck up hours of your time. These are arguably the biggest additions, but they’re not the only high-quality games Sony has tossed into the lineup.
If you’re a fan of RPGs and you were around for the PS2 era, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Wild Arms 4 is being added this month as well. This is an all-time great RPG that for many is the best in the series. It’s definitely one that you’ll want to check out if you like the genre. Sony is also adding Football Manager 26 Console, Warriors: Abyss, Squirrel with a Gun, The Casting of Frank Stone, and Monster Train. Sony confirms that all of these games will be available starting April 21. It’s also worth noting that Wild Arms 4 requires PlayStation Plus Premium, while all of the others only require Extra.
