
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will become official on April 22, and the company has just confirmed key specs of the phone. This follows the device’s Geekbench listing and the company’s initial teasers.
For the time being, we do know that the phone will become available in India. That’s where all the official teasers are coming from, and a launch has been confirmed for that country. It remains to be seen where else Motorola will push the device.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro launch date and key specs have been confirmed
What was confirmed? Well, Motorola said that the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor will fuel the device. That chip will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. A 4,600 mm² vapor cooling chamber will also be a part of the offering.

A 6.8-inch AMOLED display has also been confirmed, as its refresh rate will go up to 144Hz. It will have a resolution of 1.5K, and the peak brightness will be 5,200 nits.

6,500mAh battery, 90W charging & three rear cameras
Motorola also said that a 6,500mAh battery will be included in the package. The phone will also support 90W fast charging and ship with Android 16 out of the box. 3 years of OS updates are guaranteed, along with 5 years of security patches. Yes, the company also mentioned AI features will be included.
In terms of cameras, three will sit on the back. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony LYTIA 710 sensor) will lead the setup, and it will have OIS support. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera has also been confirmed, along with a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The third sensor on the back will be a multispectral sensor.

What else? The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will ship with Gorilla Glass 7i display protection. It will also have great ingress protection thanks to IP68 and IP69 ratings. Hi-Res audio support was also mentioned, along with Dolby Atmos.
