Just days after raising the Galaxy Z Fold 7 price on its higher-storage models, Samsung is now doing the same with a few other devices that launched last year. That includes the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy S25 FE, and the Galaxy S25 Edge.
The starting storage variant of these three devices is staying at the same price, which means the gap between 256GB and 512GB just got even bigger (or 128GB and 256GB in the case of the Galaxy S25 FE). Here’s where the pricing sits now:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 512GB – $1,299 (was $1,219)
- Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 256GB – $749 (was $709)
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge 512GB – $1,299 (was $1,219)
It’s not just phones that are affected, either. Samsung has also raised prices on a number of its tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10 FE, and many more. Here’s how those prices shake out:
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 128GB – $899 (was $799)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 256GB – $999 (was $859)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 512GB – $1,199 (was $979)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 256GB – $1,299 (was $1,199)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 512GB – $1,499 (was $1,319)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 1TB – $1,899 (was $1,619)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE 128GB – $549 (was $499)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE 256GB – $819 (was $749)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus 128GB – $699 (was $649)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus 256GB – $819 (was $749)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 128GB – $399 (was $349)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite 256GB – $489 (was $419)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus 256GB – $1,099 (was $999)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus 512GB – $1,299 (was $1,199)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus 128GB – $299 (was $249)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus 256GB – $379 (was $309)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ 5G – $329 (was $279)
Some of these prices aren’t that drastic; for the most part, it’s about $100-150 more for the same storage. Which isn’t nothing. But we have seen much more drastic price changes recently, like the Lenovo Legion Go 2 2TB model essentially doubling in price overnight.
Why is Samsung raising prices?
It isn’t just Samsung that’s raising prices. We’ve recently written about Motorola, Lenovo, and even Microsoft raising prices on products it has already had on sale for months. And the reason for it, is AI.
You see, AI is taking over the world, and to make these servers for AI work, companies are buying up RAM and NAND and raising prices for everyone else. This really makes you wonder how much this Summer and Fall’s foldable devices are truly going to cost. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 already jumped $200 to $1,999 last year, so how much more will the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide cost this year?
