Headwall Investments has been given the go-ahead to build a 575-unit apartment complex on three acres in the Tobin Hill section of San Antonio. The project will include retail and office space.
Groundbreaking for the project is expected in 2026. It will be bordered by North St. Mary’s Street, East Euclid Avenue and East Park Avenue.
Tobin Hill is home to Pearl. On the northern edge of downtown San Antonio, Pearl encompasses unique architecture, intriguing history, dynamic entertainment, shopping from spirited makers and artisans, dining options, and a wide array of unique venue and event experiences. The area is home to the former 19th-century brewhouse, The City Brewery/ Hotel Emma. The City Brewery was founded on Pearl grounds in 1881 and was the largest brewery in Texas by 1916.Â
Headwall says it focuses on acquiring and aggregating neighborhood convenience centers and creative infill opportunities (like The Allen, pictured) in high-growth Texas markets.
