The 2027 Ford F-150 was announced earlier this month with a revised engine lineup and more affordable off-road trims. But the Blue Oval didn’t stop there, as a nostalgic Two-Tone Package has become available for the 2027 version of the pickup, too. The special paint recalls the iconic two-tone color options of the classic Bumpside and Dentside Ford pickups, while keeping everything else that makes the modern F-150 a much more comfortable, practical, and safe pickup than its predecessors. The only catch is that Ford has limited the stylish look to just two variants.

The Two-Tone Package is only offered on 2027 F-150 Crew Cab models with the 5.5-foot box and 145-inch wheelbase, and only on the XLT and Lariat trims, two mid-range trims that are on the more affordable end of the range. Available via Ford Custom Garage, the brand’s in-house division for unique options and packages, the new package combines a red upper and lower body with three laser-cut accent colors that wrap around the truck’s middle section. These are Oxford White, Carbonized Gray, or Agate Black.Â

Since the configurator for the 2027 model has not gone live yet, there’s no word on how much the Two-Tone package costs. Ford currently charges up to $995 for the most expensive metallic paint on the 2026 F-150, so the Two-Tone Package will very likely set customers back over $1,000.
According to Road Ethos, the new package will require that buyers opt for the Chrome Appearance Package, too. That alone adds $1,315 to the price of the 2026 F-150 XLT Crew Cab, so the effective cost of the two-tone paint is a lot higher than expected. At least the package is a proper paint job from the factory, not a vinyl wrap that will age at a different rate.

What Else Is New For The 2027 F-150?
Aside from the striking paint option, the 2027 Ford F-150 will also ship with a new base EcoBoost V6 engine. Now a 3.0-liter mill, it replaces the previous 2.7L version, making 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is now available on more trims, including the King Ranch and Platinum. This move follows Ram’s lead, whereby it reintroduced its Hemi V8 due to customer demand.
Beyond that, Ford will also introduce cheaper versions of the Tremor and Raptor off-road variants, giving more customers access to these rugged pickups. BlueCruise hands-free driving is available from the XLT trim and above, and BlueCruise with Towing enables stress-free, hands-free towing on designated roadways.
The precise arrival date for the 2027 F-150 is unknown, but these changes—together with the new Two-Tone Package—add some much-needed excitement to the range, especially since the all-new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are arriving soon.
