With the introduction of the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition, Dodge is reviving one of its most well-known performance nameplates. The new Super Bee is built on the twin-turbocharged SIXPACK Charger platform but has been given more power, better cooling and a host of chassis improvements to put it ahead of the Scat Pack as the most potent SIXPACK-powered model to date.
The timing is fitting for the revived Super Bee, which makes its appearance as part of the Charger’s 60th anniversary celebrations. At its heart is a 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six that has been specially tuned by Dodge. With exclusive engine calibration and bigger 56mm Garrett turbochargers, the output comes in at 600 horsepower and 531 lb.-ft. of torque. It is, by any measure, the most powerful Super Bee ever made.
Dodge figures the extra muscle will have the Super Bee doing 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and covering the quarter-mile in 11.8 seconds, an improvement of almost a full second over the 2023 version. But the engineers did not just concentrate on raw numbers; they wanted the car to be more consistent when pushed hard time and again. To that end, the high-temperature cooling circuit in the engine has been boosted by over 50 percent. A reworked fascia, auxiliary radiators and ducts for the brakes also serve to direct more airflow to the front of the vehicle.

There are some firsts for the SIXPACK Charger in the way of chassis upgrades. Standard issue now means 16-inch Brembo brakes at all four corners, with six-piston calipers up front and four in the rear. The larger pads and improved cooling give the system three times the fade resistance of other SIXPACK Chargers, according to Dodge.
For grip, the Super Bee is fitted with 20×11-inch forged wheels and 305-section Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tires. The suspension has seen extensive work as well, from stiffer springs and upgraded bushings to adaptive dual-valve dampers and a beefed-up rear stabilizer bar, all to keep body control in check and sharpen the steering.
A number of performance features are unique to this Super Bee. There is a new RWD Mode to disengage the all-wheel drive with a button, and Track and Drag modes to fine-tune the powertrain and stability systems for closed-course work. You will also find a Race Prep mode that keeps the cooling fans running post-shutdown to bring down temperatures between runs, alongside the usual Launch Control and Torque Reserve.
Visually, the Launch Edition stands apart with an extended front splitter, a larger rear spoiler and exclusive graphics. The redesigned logo takes its cue from a turbo spool to hint at what is under the hood. Dodge will have three themes available, including Diamond Black and Shady, as well as a bold new Sucker Punch color. The cabin is appointed with Super Bee-specific trim, a leather-wrapped wheel with its own RWD button and large paddle shifters, and unique high-back seats.
Production of the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition will take place at the Windsor Assembly Plant. As for pricing and how to put in an order, Dodge will have those details to share later in the year.
