Like most other major car companies, Porsche is going ahead with its electrification program. As the prospect of bans on gas-powered cars looms, the Stuttgart-based firm is keen to future-proof its lineup. With that being said, the path to electrification may be less straightforward than Porsche originally thought. Demand for EVs has not been quite as high as expected, and the company has backtracked on its plan to achieve 80% EV sales by 2030.
