Xiaomi is gearing up for the global launch of its Xiaomi 17 series, and now, a new leak has revealed its purported launch date and prices. The firm is said to be launching both its Ultra and vanilla models in the market. The devices are reportedly going to be priced the same as their predecessors, at least in the European market.
Global Xiaomi 17 series to get slightly smaller battery capacity compared to China
As per a report from Dealabs, the Xiaomi 17 will launch in two variants: 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, on the other hand, will pack 16GB of RAM and offer 512GB or 1TB of storage. However, the top-end variant will be retailer-specific.
Further, the European variant of the devices is going to be slightly different from its Chinese counterpart. The standard Xiaomi 17 is tipped to feature a 6330mAh battery, while the Ultra will carry a 6,000mAh unit. In China, those capacities reach 7,000mAh and 6,800mAh, respectively. Color availability of the devices is going to change as well. The base model will be available in four different color variants. The list includes Black, Venture Green, Ice Blue, and Alpine Pink, with some variants limited to selected merchants.
Xiaomi 17 series launch date and leaked pricing
The source claims the Xiaomi 17 will be priced at EUR 999 ($1,182) and EUR 1,099 ($1,300) for its 256GB and 512GB variants, respectively. For the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the leaked price is EUR 1499 ($1,770) for the 512GB version, while the 1TB model is said to cost EUR 1699 ($2,000). This information aligns with earlier leaks suggesting the Xiaomi 17 series will maintain the same global pricing as its predecessors.
Both devices are reportedly scheduled for an official release on February 28, 2026, just days before MWC opens its doors.
