Weitzman joined Kroger for a recent groundbreaking ceremony for Custer Frontier Marketplace, a new Kroger Marketplace-anchored retail destination. The center is at the southeast corner of Custer Road and Frontier Parkway in McKinney. It’s located in a growth corridor where the communities of McKinney, Celina and Prosper intersect. It’s the third Kroger store located in McKinney.
The Kroger Marketplace is a 99,000-square-foot store that also features a Kroger fuel station. In addition to the anchor, the center will feature 54,000 square feet of small-shop and freestanding retail space in multiple buildings as well as pad sites designed for a neighborhood-focused mix of shops, dining, services, medical and beauty users.
Custer Frontier Marketplace will total approximately 170,000 square feet upon completion.
Weitzman is managing the development of Custer Frontier Marketplace under the direction of David Palmer. Michelle Caplan and Maggie Hansen with Weitzman handle leasing for the center.
