Copper Ranch, a $250 million mixed-use project in Fort Worth, has started moving dirt. The 40-acre mixed-use development will include retail, apartments and a new school.
Direct Retail Partners is helming the retail component. Located at 311 E. Bonds Ranch Road, in far north Fort Worth, the development will feature retailers such as Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Great Clips, WingStop, 7-Eleven, Panda Express, HTeaO and Mavis. The development also includes 550 apartment units from Trammell Crow Residential across two phases and an early childhood learning center.
The first retail tenants are expected to open in summer 2026. Trammell Crow is expected to deliver the first apartments in 2027.
Down the street from the development, a 128,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace and fuel station recently opened. The grocer anchors a 173,000-square-foot retail center called Bonds Ranch Marketplace, developed by Dallas-based Weitzman.
