Kane Realty Corporation, in partnership with Mitsui Fudosan America (MFA), broke ground on The Strand, a 20-story mixed-use residential tower in Kane’s planned mixed-use district.
With views of North Hills and Downtown Raleigh, The Strand will introduce 362 luxury rental units, including penthouse homes, and nearly 9,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. A 6th-level amenity deck will feature a resort-style pool, grilling area, activity lawn, and fitness center. An 18-level reserve clubroom will include a bar, dining area, and outdoor terraces. A top-level speakeasy will be an exclusive amenity for penthouse residences.Â
The Strand is expected to welcome the first residents in the summer of 2027. Plans for a second phase of development on the site are already underway. Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio is the architect for the project, and Balfour Beatty is the general contractor.
