White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is scheduled to brief reporters on Monday afternoon as Senate Republicans work to pass President Trump’s ambitious tax and spending package and meet the White House’s end-of-week deadline for congressional approval.
The briefing also comes after Canada’s government announced that it would scrap its digital services tax on U.S. technology companies, paving the way for the resumption of trade talks that Trump suspended late last week.
