President Trump will deliver remarks from the White House on Wednesday afternoon on the administration’s new “Making Health Technology Great Again” initiative.
The administration says it has secured commitments from more than 60 health and information technology companies to participate in a plan to make Medicare patient data more accessible.Â
Leaders from tech companies including Google, Amazon and OpenAI, along with providers and health systems including Cleveland Clinic and UnitedHealth Group, are expected to meet with health officials at the White House later Wednesday.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EDT.
