The Senate is set to vote Thursday on legislation that would eliminate President Trump’s authority to impose steep tariffs globally.
Senators advanced similar bills targeting Brazil and Canada earlier this week. Although, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) is unlikely to bring any of the resolutions to the floor for a vote.
It also comes as Trump completed his trip to Asia, where he engaged in trade talks with several countries, including South Korea and China.
Voting is set to begin around 11:45 a.m. EDT.
