Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) and other top Democrats are set to give remarks Tuesday morning centered on abortion rights and reproductive health.
The press conference comes days after a list was found in the car of a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a Minnesota state lawmaker that included addresses linked to reproductive rights — including abortion providers and Planned Parenthood clinics.
It also comes nearly three years since the nation’s highest court overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively ending the federal right to abortion.
The press conference is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EDT.
