FBI Director Kash Patel will testify Tuesday morning before the Senate Judiciary Committee on oversight of the agency.
The hearing comes just days after the FBI responded to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, which has prompted a flood of GOP criticism on Patel’s handling of the case. He is also likely to face heat over the agency’s role in reviewing the files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and a slate of firings that rocked the bureau earlier this year.
