House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) is set to address reporters on Monday morning after the Senate voted 60-40 late Sunday to proceed to a House-passed continuing resolution to reopen the government.
Jeffries on Sunday vowed to oppose a new Senate deal in the works to end the nearly six-week government shutdown.
