The Volkswagen ID.4 isn’t doing great here in the States. At least, that’s the picture painted by the most recent sales report for the second quarter of this year. Sales dropped by a massive 65% compared to the same stretch of time in 2024. So, VW needs to do something to liven up the electric SUV and turn sales around. At least for now, the company has decided the move is to offer a black trim package, which is probably the most common styling package in existence. Seriously, these packages are as inevitable as Thanos.
