The Vivo X300 series will soon get a new “Ultra” treatment in the form of the Vivo X300 Ultra. This will rival the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra. The flagship Android phone is tipped to debut in China in Q1 2026, i.e., between January and March. Clearing the air surrounding a global launch, the alleged Vivo X300 Ultra global model has now been certified.
Vivo X300 Ultra global version receives EEC certification
The alleged Vivo X300 Ultra global version has been certified by the EEC authority. The listing shows the model number V2562 and the brand name: Vivo. Interestingly, the phone with the same model number reportedly appeared on the IMEI database earlier. With all the evidence, it’s now almost certain that Vivo is finally bringing its Ultra flagship to global regions. For context, the Vivo X200 Ultra, last year, was exclusive to China.
Besides the mention of the model number, the certification doesn’t reveal much about the phone. However, a previous China certification revealed 100W fast charging support, which is a minor upgrade over the 90W on the Vivo X200 Ultra.

Dual 200MP cameras and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
Rumors have it that the Vivo X300 Ultra could feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. In comparison, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro ship with MediaTek Dimensity 9500. It could flaunt a 6.8-inch 2K BOE display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and PWM dimming. There could be an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
If rumors are true, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature the most powerful camera setup on any Vivo device. It may feature a 200MP Sony IMX09E primary lens, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 ultrawide, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto. It is likely to boast a 50MP selfie camera on the front. The phone may house a massive 7,000mAh battery, an upgrade from the 6,000mAh cell on its predecessor. We’ll know more about the phone in the coming days.
