The Vivo X300 Ultra specs have just surfaced online, courtesy of Gadgetsdata, a tipster. He actually shared quite a few details about the phone, presuming the information is accurate. Let’s see what’s coming.
The Vivo X300 Ultra specs include a 6.82-inch display and a huge battery
According to his X post, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2K resolution. That panel will also be flat, by the way. The model number of the phone he’s talking about is V2562, by the way.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor will fuel the device. The phone will house a 7,000mAh battery and will support 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone will also come with an IP69 certification for ingress protection.
An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package. The same goes for USB 3.2 Type-C support.
Two 200-megapixel cameras will be used, one of which will house Sony’s new flagship camera sensor
He also shared some camera info. A 200-megapixel main camera will be on offer, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide snapper, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 5MP multi-spectral sensor for better color accuracy. On the front, a 50-megapixel selfie camera will sit.
Now, the 200-megapixel main camera is expected to use Sony’s LYT-901 sensor. That was not mentioned by the tipster, but it is widely rumored. That is Sony’s new flagship camera sensor announced last year.
The 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera is expected to utilize Samsung’s HPB sensor, while that ultrawide camera will likely use the Sony LYT-828 sensor, but we cannot be sure yet. That’s also not something that the tipster mentioned.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to become official at the end of Q3, and it’s expected to arrive to global markets, unlike its predecessor. It will join the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, both of which have been announced in global variants.
