Now that the Vivo X300 Ultra has been launched in China, the global launch is before us. That was one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year, and yet another such phone is coming from Vivo. The Vivo X Fold 6 is one of the most anticipated foldable phones of 2026, and some details have just appeared.
The Vivo X Fold 6 will have a 200MP camera and a huge battery
According to Tech Home, the Vivo X Fold 6 will feature a 200-megapixel main camera. That’s not the first time we’re hearing about it. It’s also not surprising, as the expectations are high from this phone.
Camera setups on foldable phones usually trail behind the best camera phones out there, and Vivo has been striving to close that gap. Many people think that this phone will have the best camera setup of any foldable, but it remains to be seen.
In any case, the source also mentioned that the device will feature a battery of around 7,000mAh. That would be a real feat if Vivo managed to pull it off. The HONOR Magic V6 has a 7,150mAh battery, but only in a 1TB model. Globally, it utilizes a 6,660mAh unit. The OPPO Find N6, on the other hand, includes a 6,000mAh unit.
That is, unfortunately, all the information that the source shared. That phone will, however, be a high-end device, and we’re expecting top-of-the-line specs across the board.
One of two Qualcomm’s new chips will fuel the device
Some rumors said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip could fuel the device, though the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is also a possibility. You can also expect blazing-fast charging and wireless charging as well.
ZEISS will be a part of the picture as well, as it was on the Vivo X300 Ultra and many other devices from Vivo. That gives us even more confidence that this phone will have an extremely capable camera setup.
The Vivo X Fold 5 was announced back in June last year. We’re expecting its successor to arrive mid-2026, but we’re not sure when just yet.
