Vivo has officially started teasing the Vivo V70 series, which includes the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. This is the first time that the V-series is getting an Elite version. While the launch date is still under wraps, the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite specs and price details have been confirmed via a listing on the company’s official website.

Talking about the specs, the listing reveals the Vivo V70 Elite will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm, while the regular Vivo V70 will get the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. There’s LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with the V70 Elite getting 8GB + 256GB as one of the configurations. The Vivo V70 series will sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with 5,000 nits peak brightness, HDR support, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo V70 series will get an Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Alloy Frame. There’s also an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance for added durability. Other features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, and an advanced 4D vibration. The latter will keep you hooked to the action while gaming.

For the Vivo V70 series cameras, the company will continue its partnership with Zeiss. You get three cameras on the back: a 50MP with OIS, a 50MP Zeiss “Night Telephoto” camera, and an ultrawide-angle lens. There’s 4K 60fps video recording and 4K HDR video support. You get a 50MP sensor on the front for selfies. There are also some AI-powered photography features, like AI Petal Shower, AI Magic Weather, and an India-exclusive AI Holi Portrait.
The lineup will run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 skin on top. The brand is offering up to 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. Vivo V70 series will rock a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging and multi-scenario bypass charging support.
While the launch date is not clear, considering the AI Holi Portrait feature is only available from February 19th to March 15th, the phones may launch during this period. As for the price, Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will be priced under Rs 50,000 (~ $545). Besides these two, there’s also a third model, the Vivo V70 FE.
