Thanks to the various leaks we’ve seen, we know that Apple will offer the iPhone 17 Pro Max in four color options: silver, black, blue, and orange. Now, in a couple of photos shared on X by UniverseIce, two colors of the iPhone 17 Pro Max have been leaked. This gives us a better idea of what to expect.
Two iPhone 17 Pro Max colors leaked
According to UniverseIce, they claim that these colors are taken from engineering machine models. These colors are probably the closest we’ll get to seeing what the two new iPhone 17 Pro Max colors could look like in real life.
However, do note that you are viewing these photos on your monitor or screen which might not be properly calibrated. Plus, the photos themselves might have already been processed by the phone that took them. This means that while it might be close to the real deal, there’s still a possibility it might look different.
What’s interesting is that the post claims Apple might not release a black model this year. The post says the darkest color we can expect is a dark blue. That’s an interesting tip, one that seems to go against what we had previously heard. However, these are just rumors so obviously take it with a grain of salt. However, it would be strange if Apple doesn’t offer the iPhone 17 Pro Max in black.
Apple typically offers the Pro Max models in black and silver options. These represent the more “standard” colors, while also introducing alternative colors for those who want a bit more “pop” in their iPhones.
Apple’s iPhone event
That being said, we won’t have to wait much longer for Apple to unveil its new iPhones. The company has scheduled an event for tomorrow (September 9) where it will take the wraps off its new iPhone 17 lineup.
The lineup will consist of the iPhone 17 base model, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple will also introduce a new iPhone model with the iPhone 17 Air. If the rumors are accurate, it will replace the long-running iPhone Plus model.
The event will also most likely see Apple refresh its Apple Watch series. They may even introduce an updated AirPods Pro Model.
