Remember that Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 restomod that we reported on a few months back? Coming from U.K.-based shop Twisted Automotive, the TBug is a slick little off-roader with Baja Bug–style bodywork and a warmed-over version of the original air-cooled four-cylinder engine with double the original’s horsepower (at a mighty 80 horses). Twisted brought the TBug and its other wares – a lineup of Land Rover Defender–based SUVs – to New York’s Monticello Motor Club to celebrate the brand’s launch in the U.S., meaning customers in America will soon be able to assemble the cutest and most capable two-car solution out there.
