Trademark Property Co. will break ground this summer on a 206,000-square-foot shopping center in the 1,330-acre Dunham Pointe master-planned community in Cypress. Trademark first announced the project in November 2023.
The Houston Business Journal reports the company has signed several tenants, including a specialty grocery anchor, restaurants and retailers. On his LinkedIn page, Trademark’s Terry Montesi said he’s seen the highest demand he’s ever seen on a project. In addition to the retail center, the group is planning to build a multifamily project comprising three four-story buildings.
O’Brien Architects is the design firm for the project, which is now expected to open in late 2027.
Dunham Pointe is the third ground-up development in Greater Houston for Trademark, which developed Market Street in The Woodlands Town Center in 2005 and the H-E-B-anchored Royal Oaks Village shopping center in west Houston in 2001. Since 2024, it has also been in charge of retail leasing at the 413,000-square-foot LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.
