Toyota brought a plethora of hopped-up models to SEMA this year, and the one that promised the most performance (at least on pavement), was based on its current bread-and-butter EV, the bZ. The bZ Time Attack is a track-ready version of the crossover with a gutted and caged interior, and as much tire and as many aerodynamic aids as the team could get away with. All of this has been done with the idea of making this bZ ready for setting hot lap times and competing in hill climbs. Those events don’t require fast refueling, and the altitude of the latter won’t affect an EV.
