
Tidal Real Estate Partners scored a $181.8 million construction loan for a planned 16-story Nashville hotel. Lionheart Strategic Management provided the loan.
Tidal will be building the hotel on two assembled properties, 1213 Grundy St. and 114 George L. Davis Blvd. in the Gulch, which sit behind the Whole Foods Market on Broadway. The Nashville Business Journal reports that Tidal purchased the land where the hotel will stand for $29.25 million in 2021. The firm is planning a 300-room project with ground-level retail and restaurant space. Earl Swensson Associates is the architect for the development.
The site sits less than a block away from where the firm is planning a 28-story Marriott Edition Hotel.
The Nashville Edition will rise at 1110 Porter St. and offer 84 condos, ranging from one to four bedrooms. The top 15 floors of the tower will be dedicated to the condos. The Edition project is expected to break ground this summer.
