And then there’s really something magical about the LaFerrari, which the company decided to build in very limited numbers to show what you can get if you combine engineering and art at the cutting edge of performance. So, imagine something even rarer than that in the form of a Blu Elettrico LaFerrari, which has such an ultra-rare paint code. So rare, in fact, that the Maranello company only built three of them worldwide. And to cap it all off, the only one of these cars in US specification with this color, crossed the auction block at Bring a Trailer recently for just under $4.5 million. To put that in context, the average price of a 2014 LaFerrari coupe is $3.5 million, which means this buyer spent $1 million just to get a blue example. As this represents a really special occasion and celebrates something unique, it’s worth taking a closer look.
