When it comes to large engines, things aren’t looking as good as they used to this day in age. We’ve mentioned it a lot here at CarBuzz, the large-displacement engine as a whole is dying a slow death. V8s, V10s, and even V12s are starting to be phased out of existence in favor of more efficient six and four-cylinder engines, along with smaller hybrid powertrains. It seems the age-old adage “There’s no replacement for displacement” is a by-gone sentiment.
