Earlier this year, we reported that there are only two straight-six diesel engines left, and just one if you exclude this engine’s sole heavy-duty application in the Ram 2500, in the form of the 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel. Outside of this heavy-duty application sits just a single straight-six turbodiesel engine, dubbed the ‘Baby Duramax‘ by some, which you’ll find in modern copies of your favorite GM-built trucks and SUVs.
