Third & Urban has received approval from the Brookhaven City Council to begin a major redevelopment project. The development company will convert a dated office park (photo) into a mixed-use project that will include 1,500 apartments, 250 townhomes, 176 senior living units, 100,000 square feet of medical office space, 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a 350-key hotel. The project will take up 32 acres in Corporate Square.

Third & Urban is under contract to purchase the site. The project will be built in phases, with construction expected to begin in 2026. The firm is known for in-town projects such as Westside Paper and Armour Yards.
Brookhaven code requires 15 percent open space, and Third & Urban has planned several green spaces between buildings and a connection to the Peachtree Creek Greenway. Sidewalks and trail paths will run throughout the property.
