Some of our older readers may remember when the Mitsubishi Delica was briefly sold in North America in the late 1980s. We only got to enjoy this van for a few short years – from 1987 to 1990 – until it was pulled from American markets. That was just long enough to get us hooked, and the ensuing import market would ultimately wind up causing its share of trouble in the Pine Tree State.
