Every Fall, usually during the first week of September, over 200,000 people flock to the largest city in Germany, Berlin, to check out the latest in tech. IFA, which stands for Innovation For All, started all the way back in 1924 and originally took place in December, has now become Europe’s largest tech show. And slightly off-topic, but it’ll remain in Berlin for the next decade, as IFA and the city of Berlin have agreed to a new deal to keep the show at Messe Berlin.
There are a lot of comparisons between CES and IFA, even though they are quite different shows. CES is all about consumer electronics, while IFA is all about innovation, which might not necessarily be tech. As someone who has attended both shows (as well as Mobile World Congress), IFA is actually one of my favorite shows. And that’s because we see very few prototypes and concepts, compared to CES. IFA is more about announcing new products that companies want on store shelves very soon (typically within a month) for the holiday season.
With that said, we’ve spent the past week in Berlin. Scouring Messe Berlin from Hall 1 to Hall 27, plus the CityCube Berlin, to find the best tech at the show. And here’s the most interesting tech that we found at IFA this year.
Samsung’s Micro RGB TV (The World’s First!)

Ahead of IFA, Samsung announced the World’s First Micro RGB TV. Now you might be like me and thought that TCL and Hisense already announced a Micro RGB TV, but that’s not the case. TCL and Hisense have RGB MiniLED TVs, and there is a difference. The difference mostly comes down to the size of the LEDs in the panel. Micro LED has much smaller lights and many more lights, versus MiniLED.
This TV is available in a 115-inch size and it looks incredible. It’s a TV that I’d love to have in my house, a las I know I won’t be able to afford it anytime soon as Micro LED is still very, very expensive tech. However, the Samsung RGB MicroLED TV is available for $29,999 right now.
xLEAN Tr1

At trade shows like IFA we see a ton of robot vacuums, and we really do mean a ton. There are booths that are just in the corner of a hall with robot vacuums. But the one that caught our eye was the xLEAN Tr1.
The company calls this the world’s first dual-form Transformable Floor Washing Robot. Essentially, this is a robot vacuum that can also be used as an upright vacuum. Which is an absolutely genius idea. Instead of buying both vacuums, you can use one that does both.
At the booth xLEAN showed how well it works at cleaning up messes like coffee, water, and other debris. It actually washes the floor quite easily. Then you can attach the handle, and use it like a regular vacuum.
The TR1 is going to launch as a Kickstarter (a trend we saw at IFA this year), and it should hit its goal very easily.
Eufy Mars Walker
Eufy has set out to attempt to fix every issue that robot vacuums have. The only real issue left is, stairs. At CES, we saw quite a few robots that could now get over higher thresholds, but not quite a flight of stairs. That changes with the Mars Walker.
It debuted with the Omni S1 Pro robot vacuum, and it essentially carries the robot vacuum up a flight of stairs with a track, that actually works really well. You can check out the video of it in action above.
Whole Eufy isn’t the only one at IFA with a robot vacuum that can climb a flight of stairs, we do believe that theirs is the most realistic. The Mars Walker is expected to launch next year – so we’ll likely see an updated model at CES in January.
ShiftCam Explorer Series

ShiftCam is a company I had heard of, but I hadn’t actually seen of their own products or used them myself. So when they emailed me about their IFA annoucnements, I was really interested in one of their products – the Explorer Series.
This is essentially a lens for a periscope lens that doubles the focal length. ShiftCam is primarily focusing on the iPhone with this, since you do need their case. However, they are getting ready to launch a Pixel 10 Pro XL, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 case in the next couple of weeks.
This lens attaches to the back of the phone, using the Periscope lens, which is a 5x lens on the iPhone 16 Pro for now. So it will double to 10x. But you can also add on the Macro adapter for telemacro at 10x, and add the other adapter to take the zoom all the way up to 40x. There are also some VND adapters included in the kit.
This will be coming to Kickstarter, as well very soon, and while there’s no confirmed price just yet, the company is planning to sell the kit for around $300.
SwitchBot AceMate
SwitchBot is another company that makes robot vacuums, but that’s not what they are on our list for. Instead, it’s a different robot. It’s a tennis robot. SwitchBot brought AceMate to Berlin this year, which is a tennis robot for real rally play.
When visiting the SwitchBot booth this week, I learned that the robot can move at up to 5 meters per second and uses Mecanum wheels to be able to move in 360-degrees. Not only does it serve the ball to you, but it can catch the ball and with the cameras on either side, it is able to give you feedback on your swing, to help you improve. SwitchBot says AceMate is suitable for players from NTRP level 1.0 to 6.0.

It is available for pre-order now for $1,699, and it is expected to start shipping in a couple of months.
Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept
Technically not shown at IFA, as Lenovo doesn’t have a booth but held its Innovation World Event on Thursday before IFA started, and announced a slew of new products as usual. It also announced a couple of new concepts including the VertiFlex Concept.
The ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept is essentially a ThinkBook laptop with a display that rotates. Now when we first heard about this, we thought it was a gimmick. But after getting hands-on time with it, this is really cool, and really practical. It is also insanely smooth to rotate, I was able to do it with one hand after a couple of rotations.
Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro
Govee is back again with more lights, surprise surprise. This year, they are debuting the TV Backlight 3 Pro along with a few other products. The new TV Backlight 3 Pro is the industry’s first solution to use a HDR triple-camera setup, to create the most accurate backlighting for your TV. The camera is also much slimmer this year, making it less obtrusive.
Along with this new camera, Govee is also using its Luminblend technology to produce the most accurate colors possible. Which really does improve the lighting experience here.
Artronic Designs Komutr Earbuds

It’s hard to really make earbuds stand out, but Artronic Designs has done just that with Komutr. These are a pair of earbuds that are MagSafe compatible. So they’ll connect to the back of your phone, and charge, as well as act as a kickstand.
While these were designed for the iPhone, they do work with Android devices using Qi2 like the Pixel 10. It will also charge over Qi2. These are coming to Kickstarter soon, and expected to cost around $89.
LG AI Appliance Orchestra
This isn’t a product per se, but it is a very interesting demo at IFA this week. LG has taken its Fall 2025 lineup of appliances and used AI to make an orchestra, that’s playing at one end of their booth.
LG typically does cool things like this at trade shows, which really gets people’s attention, and it is quite interesting. The whole show lasts a little over a minute, and even has applause playing at the end. Watch the video above to see how cool this is.

Wrap Up
