Generally speaking, you can expect any luxury car to cost you a little more than a comparable mid-range car in the long run. They’re more expensive to insure, they depreciate like residual value is going out of style, and you’ll really feel the difference in your wallet when it comes time for routine maintenance. It’s not hard to find, for instance, a used Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG at a fraction of its original price, but we can only advise grabbing that deal if you’re ready to pay a bit extra at the garage.
