V8s, by and large, are disappearing from the automotive world. The odds have been increasingly stacked against them, from tightening emissions restrictions to stricter CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards, pushing the not-so-fuel-efficient V8 further and further into the proverbial corner. Some automakers are still hanging onto the iconic cylinder configuration, with one, in particular, creating a V8 truly worth mentioning, as it revs like the dickens.
