European prices for the Galaxy S26 family of devices have been rumored, and if the prices end up being accurate, then consumers are looking at what are going to be some expensive phones. It’s worth noting that these are still just rumors, so prices should be taken with a grain of salt. Furthermore, there have been at least two other rumors regarding the price of these new phones, and some of the details conflict with eachother. So that makes it clear that something might be as accurate as you would be led to believe.
However, it’s good to know what your potential options could be when it comes to cost. While these prices are listed in Euros, the conversion rate to USD gives some idea of what Samsung may be looking to charge in the US.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 European prices start at €1199
In terms of costs, so far, there haven’t really been any prices listed for the European market yet in the form of Euros. There have been prices rumored for Sweden, which is part of Europe, but they were listed in Swedish Kronor and, when converted, are actually noticeably different from the Euro prices.
According to a new rumor this afternoon from Arsene Lupin on X, the Galaxy S26 will start at €1199, which converts to about $1,418 in USD. This is the price for the 256GB model of the Galaxy S26. The base variant of the base phone. Obviously, Samsung isn’t going to charge over $1,400 for a base model phone. That being said, as has been said before, the prices on these phones are very likely going up. This is in direct contrast to a more recent rumor that prices aren’t changing. The reason, of course, would most likely be due to higher RAM and NAND costs for Samsung. In other words, more expensive manufacturing.
As for the remaining prices, they only go up from there. The 512GB model of the Galaxy S26 is listed at €1429. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Plus will cost €1499 and €1729 for the 256GB and 512GB models, respectively. Finally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has three variants, with prices starting at €1739, then bumping up to €1969, and then €2329 for the 1TB model. When converted, this means the Galaxy S26 Ultra with 1TB of storage would be as much as $2,754. For comparison, the 1TB model of the Galaxy S25 Ultra launched at $1,659.99. It seems unlikely that the price for this year’s model of the phone would rise that far above $2,000 in official US pricing. It does seem feasible for it to increase by at least $100, though.
Hope for a 128GB model?
Interestingly, Arsene Lupin states in a completely different tweet that the 128GB model of the Galaxy S26 could still be a thing. Despite more than a few rumors that Samsung was ditching it this year. This could just be a hope based on the higher prices. As a 128GB model would ultimately mean a lower price for the consumer.
