The Samsung Galaxy A56 is now getting the latest security update, the November 2025 one. This update delivers plenty of security fixes to the device, but it does not come with new features or anything like that.
The Galaxy A56 is now geting the November 2025 update with a ton of security fixes
This update delivers 25 security fixes from Google. Out of those 25 fixes, two are marked as ‘critical’ by the company, and all the rest are marked as high-priority fixes. There are no moderate or low importance this time around.
Samsung has added its own fixes to the table as well. The company issued 9 fixes for One UI here, along with some Exynos-related security fixes too. That’s pretty much it as far as updates go.
As per usual, we don’t know the exact nature of all of these fixes, just their number, basically. There sure are quite a few of them this time around, though.
This update is limited at first, but it will quickly spread to more markets if it hasn’t already. Samsung usually expands the availability of such updates within a matter of days, so don’t worry about that.
The update is rolling out in stages
The update is rolling out in stages, though. So even when it becomes available in your region, there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait a bit before you get it. It’s not rolling out to everyone at the same time.
The Samsung Galaxy A56, as many of you may know, is one of the company’s most popular budget phones. This mid-ranger was announced in March this year, and even though its successor surfaced already, it’s likely not coming until March next year.
This phone is still a great option if you’re looking for a budget device. We’re not saying there are no better offerings on the market, but if you’re looking for a Samsung device in that price range, there you go. You can check out our list of the very best Samsung phones, too, if you want.
