If you had to pick what Android phone would be the best-selling for the holiday quarter last year, what phone would you pick? Galaxy S25 Ultra? Pixel 10 Pro? It’s not a flagship; in fact, zero Android flagships are in the top 10.
The Galaxy A56 was the best-selling Android phone for Q4 2025, followed by the Galaxy A36, Galaxy A07, Xiaomi Redmi A5, and then the Galaxy S25, finally cracking the top 10 towards the end of its life cycle.
Once again, the iPhone dominated this list. Which isn’t a surprise; the iPhone typically does, as it sells far more units with far fewer models. But this is also the quarter that started just a few weeks after the iPhone 17 announcement. We’ve also seen from countless analysts that the iPhone 17 series sold incredibly well, particularly its base model. Notably, the iPhone Air is not on this list.

The iPhone 16e everyone loves to hate, is the 8th best-selling phone 6 months after release
When the iPhone 16e launched last Spring, many people hated it because it was supposedly overpriced for what it was. But the numbers don’t lie, it has the 8th spot for the most sold phones in Q4, which is actually a pretty significant drop from Q3 when it was 4th. Showing that people do like this phone. Why do they like this phone? Likely because of the fact it’s an iPhone 16 series, but cheaper.
The list overall shows that mid-range and budget phones are the most popular, worldwide. Just look at the Galaxy A07, this is a $100 phone that is not even sold in the US. And it’s the 7th most popular phone in Q4. The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are $300 and $500 phones, and they are insanely popular, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is nowhere to be found on this list.
