The automotive industry and the cars and trucks that come from it are constantly evolving – from design and technology, to safety and convenience features. Yet, it is possible that the automotive status quo can be improved upon. To go up against the giants that make up the big auto corporations, it takes the confidence and wherewithal of a true pioneer of the automotive industry. Malcom Bricklin attempted just that in the early seventies when he began to develop what he thought to be a truly revolutionary vehicle. Like Elon Musk and the Tesla Model S, Malcom Bricklin’s SV-1 was a forward-thinking car realized.
